I wanted to hate FEZ. I really did. It’s an indie game that purports to change the way we play. It’s an indie game that is, by all accounts, years late. It is an indie game whose creator takes himself and his craft very, very seriously. Ultimately, though, it’s an indie game that looked – to me, at least – like a rip-off of Cave Story with a used up 2D-3D mechanic.
However, here’s a sentiment that Noomi Rapace will very likely back me up on: I was wrong. I was so wrong.
That’s right. You read that right. You win at reading comprehension. Give yourself 1 point. Reel one is locked. It goes to sound and VFX and GFX and off to the composers next week – to be followed shortly by reel two.
Though my previous estimates were crude and slow, no better than those of a young child, having a reel locked and off to the wizardry is quite encouraging.

About a year ago, I formed up with my two closest friends and out came Imagos Films.
A few months later, we begun production of our first feature film, Motivational Growth.

Production wrapped in January, and has since been in post production at a local Chicago post house.
It has long been rumored that there are methods inherent to this, the material carapace serving as host to the greater universal dilation, which, if discovered and enacted, might lay upon the discoverer wrote access to the secret succor that drives all things.
Many have tried many things. Some – physical configurations, others – religion and zealous incantation. There are those who have made fellowship with nature with hope to crack its mystical shell; there are those who have sought this enlightenment in meditation, personal betterment or psychotropic stimulus.
All of them were wrong. Each attempt, in turn, was futile. Until now, that is.
