2011 Rocks!

I used to own all of the Bandai Rockman X line, as well as a bunch of the Rockman 8 plasti-snaps. They ruled, to be sure, but not enough for me not to sell them when things got a little tight. There was something missing in those figs. Something lacking.

The new Kotobukiya Rockman line is irresistible. The quality of a Koto fig is something to behold. Every IP they snag gets treated like a crown jewel, and the attention to detail is phenomenal.

A few months ago they pressed a Rock fig that is a must-have for a Rockman fan. You likely know this because I’ve posted about it. You can nab a Japanese kit from your favorite online importer or from Amazon. I am not sure, but I think there is a localized version coming; Rockman has a weird history with localization, though.

8bit snuggles!

This is what I use to snuggle. Every day.

The first video game I bought with my own money was Rockman 2. Rockman 3 got me into chiptunes. Rockman X was the reason I got an SNES and at one point in time I owned every Rockman plasteen figure, even the smelly Chinese ones.
