Motivational Growth is back in Chicago. It spent some time in LA getting chopped, screened, poked, prodded and praised. That last bit makes me über proud; the praised bit.
We’ve got a final creative edit pass before picture lock. That puts lock at about two weeks from this coming Monday. After that, it’s off to VFX, sound and color. After THAT, it’s off to your FACE.
Well, not exactly. First we’re doing the festival run thing, then we’re going to try to sell it. The selling it part’s important, because it lets us make more movies for you to dig on.
If you’re associated with any one of us at Imagos Films, though, you are likely going to a screening sometime in the next month or so. If not, or if you haven’t been invited, let me know. I know the guy who made the picture and can probably get you a pass.
When all is said and, as often happens while doing things like this, done, this film should be ready for your face in August. We started casting last August, so that makes the turnaround about 12 months, which is pretty damned wicked if you ask me. I know you didn’t ask me. That was me beeing cheeky.
I’ll keep you posted like Honeycomb.
