Forward; On to All Things

There are those things that course the ebb and flow of a day that can bring question to one’s direction. Sometimes these things can push a man to crack and to issue forth that essence-of-self that provides strength to his otherwise confused and cautious person. Sometimes these things provide epiphany for his mind, or challenge to his heart. Sometimes these things bring fear.

If this man is steeled against these things, however – given a thick armor to provide resistance – each day becomes an opportunity.

One might think an armor of such strength would be restrictive; its plastron-over-plastron scutes clinking and creaking at all attempts to move, its plated cowl and helmet a polished pot for stifling breath. One might think that agility would vanish and the hope of breaking into a full run – indeed all freedom – would dwindle and fold the usefulness of such an armor.

One would be wrong.

You see, there is an armor that can be applied with the edge of the tongue. A shield that can envelop when the circuit of kiss and caress become closed. Its plates reveal themselves only as strides and its resistance only as fear searing confidence. I tell you now that there is an armor that provides its protection by way of freedom and those tenants of growth and harmony so often lost on man.

It is not impossible. It is not a dream pushed upon you for your complacence. It is not a step into an immature world of fantasy. It is, in fact, the usher of all things that have always driven man.

A single human unity can be best described as a joining of souls the freedoms of which can no longer be compromised. Your armor is in your ability to love. Your protection is in your trust. Your desires will bind your flesh for impact.

I walk into the future forgiven. I walk into the future bound. I walk into the future protected. I walk into the future unstoppable.
